Sundays

• 1st Sunday 10.45 we gather at Church in Green lane to share Communion

• 2nd Sunday 10.45 Trini..tea and toast at church in Green Lane - space to sit to discuss a specific topic and space to just be - colouring, craft, jigsaw, games, chat

• 3rd Sunday 10.45 All age worship at church in Green Lane

• 4th Sunday We gather in the Derby Homes Community Room on Boyer St DE22 3XD for breakfast at 10, worship, discussion & prayer at 10.45 and lunch at 12.30

• 5th Sundays is worship & wonder at church in Green lane at 10.45

TUESDAYS

Sometimes we need a place to just be, a place where all are welcome without judgement, to talk, play games, do a jigsaw, colouring, craft, bring your hobbies to share, cakes, drinks, fun and optional prayer times. A place where its ok to not be ok. None of us know all the answers to life’s challenges but together we can work out some answers. We partner with anyone who wants a peaceful community, on Tuesdays, every fourth Sunday of the month and sometimes in the park. Tuesdays 12.30-7pm Renew Stocky Cafe in the Derby Homes Community Room on Boyer St, Derby DE22 3X

Thursday 12—4

Hong Kong Renew meets in Yada on Green Lane. It is hosted by Hong Kongers and is a vibrant group that helps newcomers to settle in Derby, it is open to all. See their Facebook page for details.

Why are we here

We are all committed to our local community believing that God made the world beautiful, each grass blade, each animal, each person. God entrusted this beautiful perfection to us people to take care of. As a church family we believe that a loving relationship with this creator God is offered to everyone. Jesus, God’s Son, modelled this ‘with God’ life and died transforming all the pain of all people of all time, returning to life to show that our greatest enemy death has been beaten. The mystery of God’s Spirit as an inner force to help us take care of God’s world is a gift to everyone who becomes aware of the mystery.
